Adjust World Level: After reaching World Level 5, the option to lower your World Level will be unlocked. Using this function, you can lower your World Level by 1. Each time you change your World Level, whether lowering it by 1 or restoring your World Level, you will be unable to change your World Level again for the following 24 hours.
Accepted Answer. Enemies level up as your World Level increases, not as your Characters do. Your World Level will increase when you hit certain Adventure Ranks. Some will trigger the level up as soon as you hit the right AR, but some you will have to do a quest to unlock it. When you are at the Guild to collect your AR rewards, you can look First, head over to the eastern bank of the waterfall that the Teleport Waypoint is in. Here, you'll need to climb up in order to find a blocked dice-shaped mechanism. Beside the mechanism there'll be a couple of Ruin Machines that'll wake up when you get close. Simply defeat the machines and the mechanism will unlock. Probably already mentioned by others, but I think they should add an option to pick your world level up to the max you unlocked, mostly just so we can try our characters that are new and not caught up to the main team yet.
