Youneed to check "Read-only" on the file after editing or the game will reset it. This also means you can no longer control settings from ingame menu - do that first. Go to C:\Users\\Documents\Assassin's Creed III\ and open with a text editor application the file add manually.
Ohman do I hope they let us skip cutscenes. At least the 2nd playthrough. gearsassassin13 14 years ago #8. yeah, they shouldn't let you skip the first time (just to make people get the story) but the second time i wanna be able to skip because it makes the second play kind of boring since they take so long.

Filefront apparently has a file that allows you to skip the cutscenes at the beginning of each memory block.
