I have an old, non-GOG, non-Steam version of GII+NotR. The moddb version of this mod is supposedly offered for this exact situation. The problem is, the moddb version does not come with installation instructions. So, I have the original game in D:\Games\Gothic 2 NotR. I have the 5 Gb zip file, v1.0.6, from moddb sitting in a different directory
